Interviewed by: Eden Kent“Winning state [for tennis] this past fall and being able to be part of that was huge for me. Because I worked really hard for it and the whole team worked hard for it, we had to miss a lot of school for the tournament, and it was just incredibly rewarding for us to achieve such a huge title and completely worth all the sacrifice to get there. It made me feel really good as an athlete to know that my intense training paid off and that I had the opportunity to be a part of that process”

Interviewed by: Eden Kent“It has been really interesting discovering who I want to be as a designer because there's so many different paths you can take as a designer like fashion design, photography, etc. But through graphic design and interaction design you can create things that people can interact with. I think the biggest challenge for me was to find myself as a designer, I was unsure of not only the style, but where I was going to go with it because there's only so much you can do with a graphic design major. Finding the direction I was going to take with design was really hard for me as well as the need to feel like I was really challenging myself while being happy doing it.”
Interviewed by: Anna Chung and Eden Kent“[Film] is something that I love and when you find something that you really like, it’s worth pursuing no matter what it is. It’s just the actual concept of film that … I’m passionate about. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing as long as film is involved. [If I had to give advice to someone who wants to try filming, I would tell them that] there’s nothing stopping you. If you have an idea and you have a couple people who want to work with you, go for it. There’s literally nothing that can stop you from pursuing your passion. Don’t be discouraged by anything someone says that’s meant to put you down or make you want to stop pursuing your passion. If it’s really your passion, then just go for it. Everything should be pushing you forward. Even if you make mistakes, that’s just what makes you a better filmmaker."
Interviewed by: Anna Chung“Being in theater and modeling and acting ... is a very vulnerable business. One thing about anything in that business is that there are a lot of no’s. Most of the time when I audition for things, I get turned down, but I had to learn for the rejections to inspire me to audition more and try again instead of discourage me. It’s all about persistence. Acting and singing also has given me a lot of confidence in who I am and helped me find my niche and myself. I could never see my life without any kind of art, whether it be acting or film or acting on stage, just being around people and being connected and making music ... I could never see my life without it and I don’t want to.”
Interviewed by: Caroline Hill“Rap is a way for me to show my creative expression and to show my life to the world. It’s a way to let my colors to shine bright for others to see and to distinguish myself from everyone else around me. My music reflects who I am as a person… although rap allows me to creatively express myself, I also want to write music because I want to help other people. I want to have a positive impact on other people by letting my life reflect their lives. By letting my story touch other people’s hearts, I hope to bring light and hope for those who are experiencing tough obstacles in life. The best thing to do when you’re struggling is talk about it with other people, and rap is my way of helping others by bringing happiness in their lives. Not many people know that; that’s why I rap.”
Interviewed by: Miya Malouf“Swimming isn't just splashing around in a pool. It's hours of rigorous sets and hard work everyday. [It] gives me a rush. It makes me feel empowered, like I have a place in the world. It's the perfect medicine to cure a bad day. There is no limit to being the best, once you break a record ... you can still strive to be greater”
